McCain® Breakfast Potatoes Potato Pancakes

Made from real shredded potatoes and lightly seasoned with onion and spices, these potato pancakes have the perfect savoury flavour.
Made with 100% real potatoes, they're trans fat and cholesterol free and low in saturated fat.

Potatoes, vegetable oil (canola and/or soybean and/or cottonseed and/or sunflower), onion, dehydrated potato flakes, salt, modified potato starch, modified cellulose, baking powder, sodium alginate, spices, garlic powder, calcium lactate, sodium citrate, xanthan gum, malic acid, colour, dextrose, sodium phosphate.

Oven

Preheat
425°F / 220°C

18-20 minutes
Turn after 10 minutes
       
Skillet  

Heat oil to
Medium-High
heat in non-stick frying pan

8-13 minutes
Turn halfway through cooking time

  • For oven, spread frozen potato pancakes in a single layer on a dark, non-stick baking sheet or shallow baking pan and heat until golden brown.
  • For skillet, heat small amount of cooking oil in a nonstick frying pan, and add frozen potato pancakes in a single layer.
  • Product must be fully cooked for food safety and quality.
  • Since appliances vary, these cooking times are approximate.  Cook to desired texture.
  • Always cook to a light golden colour.  When using smaller amounts, reduce cooking time.
  • DO NOT OVERCOOK!
  • NOT RECOMMENDED FOR COOKING IN A MICROWAVE OVEN.
