McCain® Onion Potato Patties

With a hint of onion flavour, these patties carry the perfect amount of savoury flavour and are great as a snack or side.
 McCain® Potato Patties are easy to prepare and ready in minutes. They’re a delicious, no-fuss addition to any meal.

Potatoes, vegetable oil (canola and/or soybean and/or cottonseed and/or sunflower), salt, cornstarch, onion powder, dextrose, sodium phosphate.

  • Pan Fry: (Recommended method). For best results use a non stick fry pan. Oil may not be necessary. Place frozen patties in heated pan. Turn frequently to prevent burning.  Spread patties on absorbent paper if desired.
  • Oven Method: Place frozen patties, single layer, on baking sheet. Turn halfway through. Spread patties on absorbent paper if desired.
  • Deep Fry Method: Make sure patties do not lie on top of each other. Shake basket to remove excess oil.  Spread patties on absorbent paper if desired.
  • Microwave: Preheat an approved microwave browning tray for 5 minutes on "High". Place 3 frozen patties in a single layer on tray and heat on "Medium-High" for 2 minutes, turn and heat 1 1/2 minutes.
    Season to taste and serve immediately.

A:  No, for food safety, you should not use frozen food products if they have thawed. To prevent food-borne illness, we recommend that you discard  frozen food products that have thawed.

A:  No, McCain® frozen potato products should be kept frozen until you are using them.  For food safety, you should not use frozen food products if they have thawed. To prevent food-borne illness, we recommend that you discard  frozen food products that have thawed.
