McCain® Ultra Thin Crust Capicollo Pizza

Gourmet Italian cured ham with roasted red peppers and roasted mushrooms all on top of an ultra thin, crispy crust. A unique blend of flavours for all to enjoy.

Crust: 

Enriched wheat flour, malted barley flour, water, breadcrumbs, soy oil, yeast, sugar, olive oil, natural flavour, salt, soy flour.  

 

Sauce:

Water, tomato paste, corn starch, sugar, salt, spices, natural colour, onion powder, garlic powder.

  

Cheese:

part skim mozzarella and parmesan(milk, modified milk ingredients, bacterial culture, salt, calcium chloride, microbial enzymes, lipase), corn starch.

 

Toppings:

Capicollo ham, roasted mushrooms, roasted red peppers, butter, garlic and onion puree (garlic, onions, soy oil, water, citric acid), spice, seasoning (dehydrated garlic, salt, natural flavour, canola oil, spice).

Oven

Preheat
450º F / 232º C
Place frozen pizza directly
on middle oven rack


10-12 minutes

 

 

  • KEEP FROZEN UNTIL READY TO BAKE.
  • Remove frozen pizza from package.  For food safety and quality, the pizza must be cooked until the centre of the pizza reaches an internal temperature of 167°F (75°C), and the cheese is completely melted and the crust is golden brown.
  • CAUTION:  BAKED PIZZA WILL BE VERY HOT! Allow to stand for 2 minutes on a wooded cutting board before serving.
  • DO NOT OVERCOOK! SINCE APPLIANCES VARY, THESE COOKING TIMES ARE APPROXIMATE. REFRIGERATE OR DISCARD ANY LEFTOVER PORTION.  NOT RECOMMENDED FOR COOKING IN A MICROWAVE OVEN.

Q:  Can I keep my McCain® pizza product in the refrigerator?

A:  No, McCain® pizza products should be kept frozen until you are using.  For food safety, you should not use frozen food products if they have thawed. To prevent food-borne illness, we recommend that you discard  frozen food products that have thawed.

 Q:  What are the natural flavours that you use in the Ultra Thin Crust pizzas?

A:  We use a natural sourdough flavour in our Ultra Thin Crust pizza dough to give the dough a flavour that is unique from other pizza crusts.

Q:  What are the natural colours that you use in your Ultra Thin Crust pizza sauce?

A:  We use natural colours derived from vegetables in our pizza sauce to give depth to the colour of the sauce.

Q:  My McCain® pizza was left out of the freezer and has thawed, can I still use it?

A:  No, for food safety, you should not use frozen food products if they have thawed. To prevent food-borne illness, we recommend that you discard  frozen food products that have thawed.
